The game is an 8-bit re-imagining of the Dark Void console release which allows players to get into the shoes of Rusty, the warrior test-pilot and Nikola Tesla’s much trusted friend. With state-of-the-art weapons like rocket pack, players can whiz their way across three retrofied levels and ward off evils as they embark on a journey to close the Portal X and save the human race.

The latest version of Dark Void Zero is integrated with many new online features. Players can gain rewards for their skills with Achievements via OpenFeint on the iPhone and Stem Achievements on the PC. Furthermore, active gamers can link Facebook to their OpenFient accounts, and compete with friends and other players from around the world to fight for the top spot on the leaderboards.

Dark Void Zero on the iPhone has been integrated with redefined touchscreen controls. The game gives users the tools for an amazingly precise and intuitive gaming experience without an actual need for a controller. Also, just like the original game, this version for the iPhone also includes the soundtrack by renowned Battlestar Galactica composer Bear McCreary. What more, users can even get the soundtrack from iTunes sometime soon.
