LG and Cricket have teamed up to introduce the stylish LG HELiX handset. This new handset features a larger 2-inch display that flaunts a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. The clamshell handset is also said to incorporate a host of advanced features.
The larger TFT display of the HELiX is capable of displaying up to 262colors. The external display of this clamshell handset boasts of 96 x 64 pixel resolution and 262K color reproduction capability. The large keypad allows users to comfortably dial numbers and type text messages. The font of the handset can be increased to enable faster and easier reading.

The 1.3 megapixel camera claims to capture images in vivid colors. Voice Clarity feature is said to improve speech intelligibility. It also said to adjust the hearing level when a user is receiving or making calls in noisy environments. Bluetooth technology, one-touch speakerphone, and speaker-independent voice commands are few of the other features of this handset.
The LG HELiX is now available in silver and pink models via Cricket’s official website, retail stores and dealers. The handset will be priced at $139.99.
