Huawei Ascend Q Cricket arrives with Muve Music rate plan

Unlike some of the slider phones we’ve been seeing lately, the Huawei Ascend Q Cricket boasts of a touch display and a QWERTY keypad built over a bar form factor. Plus, the handset is offered with a Muve Music rate plan to deliver unlimited nationwide text, talk, data and music.

The Huawei device sports a 3.2-inch HVGA display on the front, while a 3.2MP snapper is fitted on the back panel. It tags along a 4GB microSD card, with 3GB allocated to Muve Music. An integrated 1500mAh battery and an 800MHz chipset are present beneath the hood to power up the phone.

The complete show is run by the Gingerbread OS, with no mention of an upcoming ICS upgrade. To rev up Muve Music, the handset employs DTS audio technology along with support for stereo Bluetooth and a 3.5mm audio jack. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone offers 3G web browsing, Wi-Fi and mobile hotspot capabilities.

The Huawei Ascend Q Cricket price is marked at $139.99 and it can be picked up via the carrier’s sales channels. Buyers can choose between the $55 per month Cricket rate plan and the Muve Music rate plan for $65 each month.
