The Cricket BlackBerry Curve 9350 has dropped into the US with a range of data plans. Fueled by the BlackBerry 7 OS, the smartphone arrives with features like GPS, NFC technology, Wi-Fi support and more.

As is the case with regular RIM phones when it comes to design, there’s a QWERTY keypad and a trackpad tagging along to enable convenient typing. A 5MP snapper with flash is fitted onto the exterior and this imager offers video recording capabilities too. What’s more, it features a slot for expanding the memory space by a maximum of up to 32GB.

“The introduction of the BlackBerry Curve 9350 smartphone is another step in our ongoing effort to bring our customers a diverse selection of operating systems and phones from which to choose. The BlackBerry Curve 9350 has what customers need to keep up, including a powerful processor, fast browser and a 5 MP camera with flash,” cited Matt Stoiber, senior vice president, devices for Cricket, while talking about the launch.

The network provider’s second RIM smartphone provides all the expected utilities like BBM, social applications and others from the BlackBerry App World. Moreover, this is Cricket’s first device to offer Commercial Mobile Alert System (CMAS) in the US, which delivers critical alerts to owners via text messages.

The Cricket BlackBerry Curve 9350 price is tagged at $199.99. The price of the no-contract plan with unlimited talk time, messages and 3G mobile data amounts to $55 per month.
