Banjo app for iOS gets an upgrade

Banjo App iOS 01

A new redesigned version of the Banjo app for iOS has hit iTunes. The v2.3.0 brings with it bigger images, refreshed interface elements and convenient sharing capabilities.

With this upgrade, images will be played out significantly in the Community Feed and Friends Feed. Both these widgets will show off more pictures than before, with their quality in terms of size and clarity being improved as well. The images will look more ‘pronounced’ and ‘bigger,’ says a post on the official Banjo blog.

Users can directly post comments or ‘like’ snaps on similar photo-sharing apps like Instagram and on sites such as Facebook. With the reworked Feed, pictures can be perused and shared conveniently with pals. An interesting animation displays 6 options to users for sharing their snaps. Either the posts can be shared on websites like Facebook and Twitter or over email and messages. Besides, posts can be saved onto iCloud as well.

The Community List is now dubbed the Community Feed and features an orange box for friends. This should help locating pals quickly amidst the other members in the respective community. There’s a distance indicator for finding out if friends are close by or not within proximity.

The distance indicator and the toggle bar allocated to the bottom of the page become invisible while scrolling down. This generates some free space for running through images and other content. Friends present in the concerned user’s social network can be spotted via the newly designed viewing panels. Switching between maps, people view and Feed is touted to be just as convenient.

The Banjo app for iOS can be downloaded via the Apple App Store.
