With more and more apps being launched for the iPhone, here’s one more to add to the scores of applications already released. Well, Comcast after the launch of Comcast Mobile app has rolled out a new app known as the Comcast Mobile 2.0 for iPhones, reveals the Comcast Blog.
With this app, users can remotely program their DVR from the iPhone itself. Apart from this, other attributes are also included in the app. The company claims that Comcast Mobile applications expand the availability of their video, voice and data products by getting them to be accessible wherever and on any device.
Comcast Mobile 2.0 is alleged to be one of the most all-inclusive and strong ‘triple play’ apps in the industry currently. With rDVR, users need not miss their desired show or movie as they can program their DVR at whatever time, from anyplace be it PC or smartphone.
The company mentions that it may take many months to completely roll-out remote DVR programming across the country, but the procedure is ongoing. They claim to be working as quick as they can to deliver these new attributes to users.
This app might be a ‘one stop shop’ to stay connected to the company’s services and to each other. Moreover, several more enhancements may be released into the apps in some time. Comcast Mobile 2.0 can be downloaded from the Apple App Store.
