The casual games’ collection in the Apple App Stores now receives one more addition in the form of the Pollywog 1.0 developed by Chaotic Box. The plot of the game is based on Pauly the Purple Pollywog who is in search of floating yum yums.
Chaotic Box has designed this game especially for the iPhone which explores the capabilities of the iPhone to the fullest. The iPhone game, compatible with iPhone or iPod Touch 2.2.1 or later, features a sophisticated graphic style, realistic 2D physics, and an entertaining soundtrack which is designed exclusively for the game.
The initial version of the game, Pollywog 1.0 is loaded with four level tiers as well as nineteen unlockable levels. To dodge obstacles, users just need to tilt their Apple device and by gobbling the floating yum yums, gamers gain more speed. On the way to the finish line, gamers can collect super-boost powerups, time bonuses, and time warping yum yums to activate amazing ‘bullet time’ effects.
To unlock new levels, gamers have to cross the finish line with some time to spare. Further, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Perfect awards can be based on speed, dodging ability, number of yum yums collected, and overall skill.
Pollywog 1.0 can be downloaded from the Apple App Store for $1.99. Chaotic Box is planning to introduce more levels and updates for the Pollywog game in the future.
