Changes made in Nokia Music Desktop app

Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic According to UnwiredView, Nokia has recently made changes to the Nokia Music Desktop application. Now users can conveniently select the mode of connection on plugging their device onto the computer, thanks to connection mode switching.

Previously, it was bothersome to switch from one mode to another once an option was selected. The new changes provide a dedicated button for switching modes which makes the process much easier than before.

The installation process, too, is much simpler than before and “modularized”. If users already have key Nokia software installed on their computer, for instance Ovi Suite, then they need to download and install only a small 9MB Music Desktop application file.

The artwork display performance has been enhanced as well, for larger music libraries. Album covers will appear more quickly with this new software.

Nokia Music Desktop application offers the following key enhancements. Users can play and organize music between computer and phone. It offers full integration with the Nokia Music Store and the Comes With Music. Users can transfer music and playlists to and from their device and they can burn songs to CDs. Users have the added benefit of ripping CDs straight to their device, thanks to “Rip n’ Go”. They can use music potential of their phones to the max with the only PC jukebox optimized for Nokia owners. Nokia Music Store recommendations are provided based on users’ ‘now playing’ track.

More updates for the application will be released by the end of the year.
