Celkon has augmented its range of Rahmanishq phones and has added a new member to the family that goes by the name of AR40. The affordable Android device that costs less than Rs 6,000 hasn’t hit store shelves as yet, but will be made available in the next few days.
The Celkon Rahmanishq AR40 which is dedicated to the maestro A R Rahman, is basically meant for music lovers and has been loaded with some decent features that make it an phone worth considering. It is a compact gadget that easily supports a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen on its front panel along with a VGA snapper that facilitates video conferencing over the internet while on the move. But that’s not all. You even get a 3.2MP rear camera with auto focus to capture memories in the form of images and movies.
Like most of its counterpart that fall in this category, the Celkon smartphone is graced by dual SIM card slots as well. Apart from 3G compatibility, you can expect the device to tag along features like GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB connectivity and much more. When it comes to operating system, interested customers will be glad to know that it makes the most of the Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS and will even receive firmware updates in the future.
Under the hood sits a dual core processor that can sprint at a maximum speed of 1.2GHz and seeks assistance from 512MB of system memory. 4GB internal storage has been provided for hoarding purposes and users have the option of expanding it further by up to 32GB. A 1500mAh battery has been embedded in order to cough up usage time of at least an entire day.
The Celkon Rahmanishq AR40 will be available soon through leading retail stores in India at Rs 5,999.
