Now, the CAT students will be able to view their results on mobile phones. Rediff.com, an Indian online community portal is offering an exclusive service on its short code SMS service for CAT students. The students who have appeared for CAT in 2007 will be able to view their results on their handsets.
Students who wish to view their results have to only enter CAT along with their ‘test registration number’ followed by the ‘application number’ and send a SMS to 57333.
The students will receive their results instantly on their mobile phone. Students can also enter their Date of birth’ in (DDMMYY format) along with their Test registration number’ and get the result on their mobile phones.
If the students need any help they can just type a text message ‘CAT’ and send it 57333.
This service will be made available to all mobile subscribers across operators. The charge of the SMS by BSNL will be Rs.1 per SMS, while the premium SMS would be Rs.3 for all other operators.
