Several location based iPhone apps have been introduced recently and a new addition to this list is the Buzzd iPhone app that facilitates users to rate up, rate down, comment and upload pictures of their hangout places.
iPhone users simply need to load the program while the app brings a list of popular venues near their location based on the most discussed ones on Twitter and Buzzd, reports TechCrunch. When a user clicks on a particular place, they get a detailed description including its phone number, the distance from the user’s place and a few other details. Reportedly, users need to create an account on Buzzd and sign up, however users can also access the service without creating an account if they are not interested in buzzing data.
Apparently, users can also plug into their GPS and quickly find the latest events in their vicinity which is made easier owing to the local search helps. Users can also send a ‘buzz’ about a place that they have visited recounting their experience and even send it via Twitter. Buzzd app for the BlackBerry was introduced earlier and now with iPhone entering into this arena the ‘buzz’ is likely to be greater.
