Burnley Media rolls out Stone Skipper app for iPhone

Stone Skipper App

iPhone users will now have a new application to use from their innumerable list of apps. This unique application can should make the iPhone a lot more fun and interesting than it already is. This app is known as Stone Kipper and in developed by Burnley Media.

Stone Skipper allows players to turn their iPhones into rocks and replicate skipping them across immobile water. This is a straightforward concept, but the test begins in maintaining a solid grasp on the iPhone so that the users do not truly shoot the device across the room. From there, the complexity rises and the game can certainly get more extreme and enjoyable. With the assistance of Max and his dog, Andy, every Stone Skipper level needs the player to skip the rocks over and over again. The game is over, subsequent to three unsuccessful tries.

Burnley Media spokeswoman, Julia Brown, commented, “We got the idea to create Stone Skipper when we noticed the iPhone has the perfect weight and smoothness to be skipped across a lake. Unfortunately, the real iPhone doesn’t like being in contact with water.”

Brown stated, “The Stone Skipper iPhone app is the result of a successful creative collaboration. We are excited to introduce the game to the iPhone community and look forward to developing additional iPhone games.”

It is possibly just as enjoyable to see people play Stone Skipper as it is to play the game. The madcap actions players make while attempting to skip their stones are quite fun and amusing to watch.

The Company entrusted artist Michael Heald of Fully Illustrated with the responsibility to plan the look of Stone Skipper and Max and Andy. The game also comes with an original soundtrack by composer Simon J. Hunter.
