BSNL and Pantel Technologies have once again joined forces to launch a new set of devices such as the Bharat Phone, Penta Smart PS650 and PS501 as well as the Penta T-Pad WS707C tablet. The smartphones and the tablet will be made available through Homeshop18 TV Channel from next week as the retailer is the launch partner for these devices.
The Penta Bharat Phone PF300 claims to be the cheapest device in India to offer internet access. This Java-based dual SIM handset packs a 1800mAh battery to offer standby time of 15 days and talk time of about 8 hours. Also, BSNL offers 1200 free voice minutes with it. The other features of the gadget include a 1.3MP camera, Bluetooth, 64MB each of RAM and ROM, mobile tracker and much more.
The Penta Smart PS650 is a 6.5-inch phablet that brings 3GB of 3G data as well as 300 minutes of talk time, free of charge. Apart from the OGS display, it employs a dual core A7 processor of 1.2GHz and Mali 400MP GPU with 512MB of RAM. The device makes the most of the Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS and draws power from a 2500mAh battery. A 2MP camera with HDR and image stabilization can also be found on it.
The Penta Smart PS501 smartphone flaunts a 5-inch IPS touchscreen and is loaded with the Penta App suite. If too offers free 3G data and voice minutes and extends support to the ‘cool 3D’ technology. Complete with a graphic equalizer, the phone that tags along 15GB of cloud storage, acquires steam from a 1.2GHz A7 dual core processor and 512MB of RAM. A 5MP camera, a VGA webcam, 4GB of internal storage, Bluetooth, GPS and more have also been tossed into the mix too.
And finally, the Penta T-Pad WS707C slate with free 3G data is powered by the Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS and integrates a dual core processor. The 7-inch device has 512MB of RAM as well as 4GB of internal storage and comes pre-loaded with multiple applications like Aldiko, Facebook, Flipboard, Skype, Documents-to-Go and more.
The Penta Bharat, Penta Smart PS650, Penta Smart PS501 and Penta T-Pad WS707C are priced at Rs 1,799, Rs 7,999, Rs 6,999 and Rs 6,999, respectively.
