BSNL has joined forces with Champion Computers to introduce two new entry-level smartphones called the My Phone SM3512 and SM3513 in India. Although the prices have been marked at Rs 4,499 and Rs 5,499, respectively on the official website, users can lay their hands on them for discounted prices of Rs 3,225 and Rs 4,499, correspondingly.
Both the devices boast of the same set of features and specifications and even resemble each other in terms of design. But what sets the two apart from each other is 3G compatibility which has been bestowed only on the SM3513. The SM3512 can only work with 2G mobile networks.
For extremely affordable prices mentioned above, interested users can expect the Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS for an intuitive interface. The dual SIM phones are integrated with a dual core processor as well as a 1300mah battery. Talk time of around 6 hours is what can be expected from each of the BSNL Champion handsets and their standby time is approximately 350 hours.
A 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen graces the front panel along with a 1.3MP webcam and the flip side is fitted with a 3MP camera. It may not have sufficient onboard memory and thus you get to increase it further using a microSD card of not more than 32GB capacity.
