BPL Mobile which is a service provider now offers a slash in pre-paid call rates. Subscribers will now be able to enjoy all local and STD calls any where in India from BPL Mobile to any mobile service and landline for a flat Re. 1 per minute.
This reduction in cost rates drops nearly 50%. While in SMS across India will also be for Rs.1. BPL Mobile till now is the only service provider to offer all Calls, SMS both local and STD only at Rs.1 especially for prepaid users.
The subscribers to avail this offer will have to pay an advance rental of Rs.30 which will be deducted from their account after every 30 days.
The subscribers to avail this offer will have to send a text message India to 50505 which will provide them more details on One India Prepaid. Recharge vouchers are also available.
On making an announcement S. Subramaniam, CEO & Director, BPL Mobile explained, “The pre-paid market, which is a highly price-sensitive market, constitutes more then 70% of our subscriber base.”
He further continued, “In a way this significant reduction in call rates is our new year’s gift to our loyal customers. We continuously look at adding value to our subscribers; this new offering is another step in that direction.”
BPL Mobile has strengthened the network capacity to develop prepaid market by offering lowest lifetime prepaid at Rs.444.
