Samsung has announced a powerful multimedia phone known as SGH-F490. This mobile phone has intuitive interface for the European Market.
Samsung SGH-F490 is a full touch screen which is 3.2 inches and 16:9 wide screen. The Samsung has a large screen which allows the users to view pictures or videos better.
Samsung F490 comes with the Google Search and browser for web pages in both vertical and horizontal views.
“Samsung F490 is the solution for consumers who want to use Internet wherever and whenever they want,” explained Geesung Choi, President of Samsung’s Telecommunications Business.
Choi further continued, “F490 is not only a powerful multimedia device but also a stylish fashion item with sleek and charming design. We are proud to introduce this new innovative multimedia handset to global consumers.”
The Samsung F490 is a slim bar which is only 11.8mm. It has rounded corners and glossy surface. This handset allows the users to enjoy all functions by just tapping and dragging.
When a song is being played users can easily rewind or fast forward the song or even can adjust the volume.
Samsung F490 is a user friendly handset in terms of input methods, basic navigation, content access methods and task completion.
Samsung F490 has a 5 mega-pixel camera; it also offers latest audio and video functions with standard 3.5mm audio jack. Samsung F490 has support for compatible microSD card in addition to 130MB internal memory.
The handset also offers multimedia experience with fast HSDPA networks. Since it has a speed of 3.6Mbps it can download large files, streaming videos and can even hold video conversations.
Samsung F490 comes bundled with Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0 which can be connected to range of peripherals which includes wireless headsets and mobile printing.
Samsung F490 will be available in some European countries from late January at around 530 euros (which is approximately Rs.30,772 ). After being launched in Europe, the phone will come to US and the Asian market including Korea.
