Boost Mobile unveils Motorola Debut i856

Boost Motorola i856 Boost Mobile users can now enjoy the ‘walkie-talkie’ experience right from their handsets. Boost Mobile in association with Motorola introduced the push-to-talk slider phone known as the Debut i856.

Motorola Debut complements appropriately with Boost’s $50 Monthly Unlimited plan that provides unlimited, nationwide, anytime calling, text messaging, wireless Web and walkie-talkie service in 17,500 cities all across the United States on the Nextel National Network, with no additional telecom taxes, activation and roaming, traveling or long distance fees.

Now, Boost Mobile customers can continue to stay in constant contact with the added control of a slider and the fun of camera and music features.”

The slider phone features a 2.2” TFT display with 176 x 220 resolution. Users can enjoy MP3, AMR, Midi, AAC, AAC+, WAV, AU and WMA music formats while the device also comes enriched with dual speakers offering stereo sound and 3D audio. Equipped with the innovative push-to-talk feature, the mobile phone offers threaded texting enabling users to view entire conversations all on one screen.

The Debut features a 1.3 megapixel camera with video functionality. The i856 incorporates a four pole 3.5mm audio jack with stereo support, Micro USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 2.1. With 50mm x 106.5mm x 15mm dimensions, it weighs around 84.8 grams.
