According to the latest word, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile will be vending the HTC Evo V 4G and the Evo Design 4G on the WiMAX network, starting May 31. The latter network operator plans to sell the HTC Evo V 4G with its BeyondTalk monthly plans that are not attached to any contract for $35 every month.
In terms of mobile broadband, Virgin Mobile’s Broadband2Go offers plans for people who require web connectivity at any point of time on a no-contract basis. The first alternative offered by the carrier is the Overdrive Pro 3G/4G mobile hotspot by Sierra Wireless for a price of $149.99. Alternately, it delivers the Franklin U600 3G or 4G USB stick for a cost of $99.99.
These devices will function on Sprint’s 3G and WiMAX network for data transfer and the ability to connect to other devices like laptops, tablets and other wireless sources. A separate plan combining Broadband2Go and the aforesaid devices will enable access to unlimited 4G data. Boost Mobile is shipping the Evo Design 4G with the WiMAX network on the $55 Android Monthly Unlimited scheme with Shrinking Payments.

With this update, the Design 4G becomes the first smartphone on Boost Mobile to receive the Visual Voicemail attribute courtesy of Smith Micro. At no additional cost, potential users can listen to their messages and organize them as per individual choice by simple taps of the finger.
The Virgin Mobile HTC EVO V 4G and Boost Mobile HTC Evo Design 4G each have a price of $299.9 and they will be up for grabs from May 31 onwards. The former will be available in June on the official site and other sales channels in the US.
