BlackBerry Storm 2 reached the UK last month via Vodafone and now the BlackBerry smartphone is made available in Canada through Telus. The network carrier had previously introduced BlackBerry smartphones like the Tour 9630, the Storm 9530, Curve 8330 and more.
The smartphone sports a high resolution 3.25-inch clickable touchscreen and virtual QWERTY keyboard. The 9550 offers accessibility to the BlackBerry App World and provides instant connectivity to Facebook, BlackBerry Messenger and email. The Storm 2 sports a 3.2 megapixel camera and music player. The CDMA device offers up to 5.5 hours of talktime and around 11.2 days of standby time.
The BlackBerry Storm2 boasts of 2GB of internal memory and offers support to expend till 16GB. The dimensions of the Telus handset are 112.5mm x 62mm x 13.9 mm and it weighs about 160 grams. The smartphone is inclusive of a plethora of Telus services including Telus mobile music, Telus mobile radio and Telus mobile TV.
With a three year contract the BlackBerry smartphone is retailed for $199.99. However, the Storm 2 can be purchased for $499.99 on two year contract, $549.99 on one year contract and $599.99 without contract.
