BlackBerry Bold 9650 The BlackBerry Bold 9650 is all ready for a kick start this coming season. Through Verizon Wireless, it makes a remarkable entry into the smartphone market by sustaining GlobalAccess Connect giving its customers the freedom to convert their device to a notebook or netbook by using it as a modem for wireless Internet access.

The new BlackBerry Bold 9650 flashes with an optical trackpad for smooth navigation. It also includes an in built Wi-Fi along with Push-to-Talk feature that enables its customers with a two way communication with almost 50 people. With the VZ Navigator version 6, customers can access free mapping and integration. With global capabilities, it provides detailed directions and maps in English while navigating through more than 20 destinations. It also marks distances in miles or kilometers and finds all the important locations on the way with the use of Local Search feature.

The BlackBerry Bold 9650 arrives with a stylish, sleek design and a glossy finish with chrome highlights. It has a large, high-resolution display that ensures pictures, videos and web pages with good contrast and detailing. The device includes a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, variable zoom, image stabilization, autofocus and video recording that makes photography even better. It is also accompanied by an advanced media player for videos, pictures and music, 3.5mm stereo headset jack and support for Bluetooth Stereo Audio Profile. The BlackBerry Media Sync helps to easily sync music and photos with access to Facebook, MySpace and Flickr and also popular instant messengers, including the BlackBerry Messenger.

The BlackBerry Bold 9650 supports BlackBerry App World, featuring third-party mobile applications developed specifically for BlackBerry smartphones. With a 512 MB Flash memory and an expandable memory card slot that adds up to16GB microSDHC card and 2GB card is pre-installed. The BlackBerry Bold 9650 has a full HTML Web browser, streaming audio and video via RTSP. It also has a built-in GPS with support for location-based applications and services as well as geotagging. The premium phone features voice-activated dialing, speakerphone and Bluetooth with high-speed EV-DO Rev. networks in North America as well as single band UMTS/HSPA (2100MHz) and quad-band EDGE/GPRS/GSM networks abroad. It is accompanied with a removable and rechargeable 1400mAhr battery for up to 5 hours of CDMA talk time.

A non-camera version of The BlackBerry Bold 9650 smartphone will also be available for order online beginning June 3. Customers will receive the mail-in rebate in the form of a debit card by displaying the receipt, customers may use the card as cash anywhere debit cards are accepted. Verizon Wireless customers will have to subscribe to a Nationwide Talk plan or Nationwide Talk & Text plan and an Email and Web for Smartphone plan. Nationwide Talk plans begin at $39.99 monthly access. Email and Web for Smartphone plans start at $29.99 for unlimited monthly access.

GlobalAccess Connect plans are available for $65 with monthly access of 5 GB allowance in the United States and Canada ($0.05/MB overage) and 100MB allowance in select countries ($5.12/MB overage). There is also a $155 monthly access option that offers 5GB allowance in the United States and Canada and 200 MB allowance in selected countries, with the same overage rates with $65 monthly option. Customers can add Push to Talk for $5 per month per line and download the service from the Application Center or through VZStart on their handsets. VZ Navigator is available for $2.99 for daily use, $4.99 for seven-day use or $9.99 for monthly subscription. It sprints on a wireless voice and 3G data network in the US.

The BlackBerry Bold 9650 smartphone will be available for order online at verizonwireless.com from June 3 and also at Verizon Wireless Communications Stores beginning June 10 for $149.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.
