Movie enthusiasts can now gear up to enjoy favorite movies on their mobile phones. Vodafone comes up with the Mobile Box Office service which is the latest addition to its portfolio of voice services. Users can now listen to the storyline, trivia, dialogues and songs of their favorite movies with a click.
The catalogue offered stretches to over 50 movies across 7 movie industries every week. Dedicating songs to friends and downloading caller tunes and ringtones are also some characteristics of this service. They can access movies across 6 different languages such as Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telegu, Malyalam and Bhojpuri.
Rohit Atya, CEO, Vodafone Essar-Mumbai, remarked, “The key advantage of voice based services is that it can be offered in variety of languages to cater to the diversified Indian population. This is the first time ever that a concept of mobile movie capsule has been introduced to mobile phone users in India and we are certain that movie lovers will have an unmatched entertaining experience even while they are on the move.”
Users can listen to ‘Movie of the Day’ trailers and upcoming movies using the Mobile Box Office Teaser slots. A collection of their favorite movies can also be added to the ‘My Movies’ playlist by using bookmarks. This service caters to both prepaid as well as postpaid consumers. The pricing module for postpaid consumers is a monthly rental of Rs.30 for 5 movie Capsules with a validity of 30 days and a browsing limit of 3 times per movie.
Prepaid consumers are required to have a minimum balance of Rs.30 for a Rs 30 subscription which consists of 5 Movie Capsules with a validity of 30 Days. Rs 20 for 3 Movie Capsules with a validity of 20 days and Rs 10 for 1 Movie Capsule with a validity of 10 Days are the other options on offer. They can also benefit themselves with a TopUp of Rs 10 for 1 movie with a validity of 30Days from the date of top up.
To subscribe, users need to call the tollfree number 56700 and request for activation. They can even choose to SMS MBO to 111 or 444.
