Not so long ago RIM was offering details about the highly-anticipated BlackBerry 6 for a complete multimedia experience. Now, BlackBerry users can cheer up as the company shared various interesting details that come bundled with BlackBerry 6. The new offering promises to deliver an intuitive multimedia experience.

Users can now easily upload their music library on the handset through the BlackBerry Media Sync and can instantly notice the newly added album art virtually for easy access and recognition of their popular albums. The interactive carousel helps users navigate music through the album art. Users can also select the album or the
artist name by locating other selections from the same album/artist.

The software now enables users to easily view and organize thousands of images automatically while its ‘Transitions’ feature lets one view the full image or a slide show of pictures. Enabled with touch support, it comes equipped with pinch to zoom feature for a seamless experience. Users can also share, copy, paste or delete images.

The new thumbnail view feature allows users to effortlessly search for their favorite videos. Offering options to view videos in varying sizes, the new solution helps users share videos instantly globally with the new integrated YouTube video uploader. The new Search feature in BlackBerry 6 has been incorporated to help users search Internet video sites such as YouTube and view high quality YouTube videos when taking advantage of Wi-Fi.

In addition, the new on-screen controls reduce the effort of locating menus of various favorite options. Users can review camera pictures, set favorite options and select from a wide range of scene modes directly from the camera screen. Recording videos with the video camera application has just got easier.

The BlackBerry podcasts service further improves searching, subscribing and playing entertaining audio and video podcasts directly from the phones. Users will have to select Explore Music Apps, Explore Video Apps or Explore Picture Apps from the main menu within the media player. This will provide users with a direct link to rapidly highlight favorite media apps within each category on the BlackBerry App World storefront.

Support for iTunes and Windows Media Player music sync and 2-way photo sync is also included. Users can now enjoy the flexibility and will be able to sync their music by individual artists or genres.

Well, the new BlackBerry 6 is anticipated to offer a complete multimedia experience.
