The famous Rock band Alice in Chains has released its latest album via an iPhone App. This latest album called ‘Black Gives Way to Blue’ has been launched via an iPhone app, reports Mobilecrunch.
This iPhone App includes the album itself, along with photos, news, videos and more. This app was developed by a company named Mobile Roadie in partnership with Streetwise. The app also provides users with information about the band’s various tour dates. Highly interactive, the app has a custom built feature in which it allows users to interact with the tracks. Users can interact with each of the albums’ eleven tracks via a touch, drag and hold feature that reveals hidden visual gems.
Reportedly, the Rentals are trying their best to get people support this new album. Well, this new strategy to promote the album is pretty cool. The first app launched to promote a product was the Viral loop. This app was followed by the Volkswagen’s 2010GTI app.
