BenQ T80 and T60 Mobile Phones announced

BenQ Logo At the Mobile World Congress, BenQ announced the release of its Mobile Internet Device (MID)that combines the advantages of a notebook and a smartphone. The new T80 smartphone and ultra-slim T60 mobile phone also allows users to enable Near Field Communications (NFC).

The T80 is the first NFC-enabled smartphone, which is powered by Windows Mobile 6 and offers PC-friendly interface. Manufacturers claim that T80 users can use their phones to make contactless credit and cash payment, pay for public transport, enjoy e-wallet services and access home security systems.

While the T60 is a stylish phone and possesses attractive slim design. It is as thin as 8.9mm, hence targeted at the fashion conscious people.

Peter Chen, General Manager of Technology Product Center, BenQ Corporation said, “Not only is BenQ’s participation in this year’s congress evidence of our successful collaborations with our partners, it also showcases BenQ’s impressive results in design, research and development. We will continue to strive for innovation and creativity to move with the times and fulfill different consumers’ needs”

Sadly BenQ has not released any images of the T80 and T60 phones, neither have they disclosed information pricing and availability.
