Beetel 3G Max wireless hotspot declared for India

3G Max, a new wireless internet hotspot, was recently announced in India by Beetel Teletech. It can be connected to a mobile phone carrier for providing internet access for up to five devices.

The hotspot provides network access to Wi-Fi enabled devices like handsets, tablets and laptops by functioning at a distance of up to 10m or 30ft. Running on a 1500mAh battery, it is capable of supporting GPRS and USB connections. After activating Wi-Fi, users can manage and customize their Wi-Fi mobile broadband connection via an easy-to-use interface.

With an expandable memory of up to 32GB, this device is compatible with Window XP, Window Vista, Window 7, MAC and Linux operating systems. It possesses a battery usage time of up to four hours and standby time of up to forty hours. This hotspot delivers data speed of up to 7.2Mb/s and is endowed with a USB 2.0 port.

The Beetel3G Max comes with a price tag of Rs. 5,500.
