BBM for Android and iOS apps get their first updates

Less than a month after the BMM for Android and iOS apps were rolled out, BlackBerry has updated the two versions. Apart from the usual bug fixes, subscribers can expect some new features as well. One of the advantages is that the application meant for the Apple devices now also supports iPod and iPads.

Let’s first take a look at exactly what the Android version of the instant messaging service has in store for us. First and foremost, there are performance improvements and the Canadian company has enhanced Group List sorting and filtering. Support for BBM contact categories has also been thrown into the mix.
