The Barnes & Noble Nook Color tablet is all set to receive an overhaul which should make it more entertaining and engaging for users. The software update version 1.4 will be rolled out over-the-air, free of charge.
The latest revision brings in several new services from Barnes & Noble like Nook Comics, PagePerfect Nook Books, and more. Other than this, the upgrade will let users access content like movies, TV shows, and so on from popular applications like Netflix and Flixster. Further additions centered on entertainment are also expected to roll out soon.

Touting it to be the largest ever software update for the eReader tablet, the company highlights that this revamp will bring about almost 100 feature augmentations to the device. In addition to this, several holiday shopping offers on the eReaders as well as the tablet in question.
The Barnes & Noble Nook Color software update version 1.4 will be made available by next week over-the-air. But if enthusiastic fans don’t want to wait till then, it can also be downloaded from the official B&N website.
