While preparing for the upcoming season in real time, Google fans should not leave their Androidify avatar alone to face the winter. Because with the latest update to the app, any personalized Android robot can dress up with not just sweaters, but also skis, mittens, candy canes, and more.
Developed by Google Creative Lab and Larva Labs, the application allows users to gussy up the Android doll as themselves, a friend, a family member, or just something from their wild imagination. This is possible with all the paraphernalia like glasses, clothes, hair accessories, and other such stuff available within the app.
“Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year and Androidify yourself with a bunch of new winter gear. Dress up your Android with candy canes, mittens, skis, antlers, sweaters and more! (Did someone say 2012 party glasses?) Head over to Android Market to get the latest Androidify update and make your Android ready for the season!” posted Thomas Gayno, Marketing Manager, Creative Lab on the official Google Mobile blog.
With other features of the app, the small green robot need not stay green at all. Along with changes to the skin color, users can also modify the size and height of the figurine by stretching and shrinking it as required. Once done, fans can use this avatar as a contact image, display picture, or in numerous other innovative ways.
The version 1.12 of the Androidify app can be downloaded free of cost from the Android Market.
