AT&T to show off HTC Freestyle starting February 13

HTC Freestyle With advancement in technology, the demand for highly innovative smartphones has been increasing at a rather fast pace. Attempting to meet this growing need, manufacturers too have been rather upfront about showering some really enthralling devices in the market. Here is another handset designed with HTC Sense and slated to soon enter the mobile terrain. AT&T recently publicized the launch of HTC Freestyle on February 13.

Designed by pushing the boundaries of innovation, this device offers a quick messaging ability and runs on the Brew mobile platform. HTC Freestyle should hit the markets with a 3.2-inch touch screen display clad in an aluminum unibody construction. With features like customizable widgets and the FriendStream app, connecting with friends just became simpler. Sporting a 3.2-megapixel camera, the smartphone has a full HTML browser too.

“We are excited to add HTC Freestyle to our popular quick messaging device portfolio,” commented Jeff Bradley, senior vice president, Devices, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets. “Between the HTC Sense experience, a multitude of apps through Brew MP and its top-notch construction, the Freestyle is sure to make a splash with customers.”

In addition to a microSD slot for cards of up to 32GB and a 3.5mm jack for wired headsets, the mobile phone also features stereo Bluetooth and FM radio support. The absence of a physical keyboard brings in a seamless messaging experience via virtual keys. The handset is fabricated with HTC Sense that will allow all messages, emails, texts, tweets and status updates to be clustered together for easy viewing and follow-up. This newly unleashed device also augments support for AT&T Navigator, AT&T Music, AT&T Radio, and the carrier’s 3G network.

The HTC Freestyle can be picked up February 13 onwards from AT&T stores and online for $99.99 after a two-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate.
