The tablet cum smartphone, the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note is all set to release on February 19. Announced earlier this month, the handset will be available in two colors namely, carbon blue and ceramic white.

Embedded with a 5.3-inch WXGA 1280 x 800p HD Super AMOLED touchscreen display, the Galaxy Note is capable of serving as a smartphone as well as a tablet. It comes incorporated with the pen input technology known as the S Pen, which allows users to operate the device with their fingers or the accompanying Smart Pen.

“The Galaxy Note brings a new level of efficiency to busy customers who would normally rely on multiple devices. This new breed of smartphone helps consumers accomplish more with a single device than ever before. The unique all-in-one experience can simplify daily life while tapping into AT&T’s 4G LTE network to let customers work even faster,” cited Jeff Bradley, senior vice president, Devices, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets.

Powered by a 1.4GHz dual core processor, this Samsung mobile phone runs on the Android 2.3 OS. Snap-happy users can take pictures via the integrated 8MP primary camera with LED flash and employ the 2MP secondary snapper for video calling.

The AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note price is tagged at $299.99 along with a two-year agreement. Prospective buyers can pre-order it from February 5, either online at att.com/galaxynote or visit any AT&T company-owned retail store for the same. Those who pre-order the smartphone by February 15, can expect it to reach them by February 17.
