The highly anticipated BlackBerry Bold 9700 is finally made available via AT&T. The QWERTY phone makes messaging easier and offers access to personal email including AOL, Yahoo! and Windows Live.
The 9700 features a 2.4-inch high-resolution display that offers 480 x 360 pixels resolution. The BlackBerry Bold sports a 3.2 megapixels auto-focus image stabilization camera with 2X zoom. The 3G enabled mobile phone offers 256MB of internal memory and supports up to 32GB via a microSD card.
The smartphone measures 4.29” x 2.36” x 0.56” and it weighs about 4.20 ounces. Equipped with a 1500mAh Lithium ion battery, the handset delivers up to 6 hours of talktime and around 19 days of standby time. The quad band mobile phone supports BlackBerry Push Technology as well as Bluetooth 2.0. The Bold 9700 is inclusive of AT&T Mobile Music as well as music player.
The BlackBerry smartphone can be purchased for $199.99 with a 2 year contract with a $100 mail-in rebate. However, without a contract the BlackBerry smartphone is retailed for $449.99. Apart from the smartphone, the package is inclusive of hands-free stereo headset, charger, USB cable, holster and battery.
