The flagship AT&T LG Optimus G is now available in the US, while its Sprint version is yet to hit availability status. The device that is bestowed with a huge touchscreen, offers not only fast web access with 4G LTE network connectivity, but also smooth multitasking with the help of its quad core processor.
It treats users to the Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform, but the company is yet to reveal whether the LG handset will receive over-the-air Jelly Bean update or not. Resting snugly under the hood is a 1.5GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor which teams up with 2GB of RAM in order to facilitate multitasking while on the move.
In addition to 4G LTE, the network provider in question has revealed that the phone is even compliant with other networks like HSPA+, 3G, GPRS and EDGE. The front side of the device with dimensions of 5.15 x 2.82 x 0.33 inches flaunts a WXGA True HD IPS Plus display that provides a multi-touch real estate of 4.7 inches. Users can expect this screen to render visuals in 1280 x 768p resolution.
Additionally, the Optimus G is embedded with a 1.3MP front-mounted webcam. It can be employed for the purpose of capturing 720p videos as well as for making video calls.
