The phone which aptly flaunts hints of its generous touchscreen through its name, the AT&T HTC Titan now seems all set to hit the market. This venture will mark the network carrier’s third smartphone with the new Mango OS from Microsoft for the year.

Introduced along with the HTC Radar in September this year, the handset shows off a 4.7-inch touchscreen with 480 x 800p resolution. Along with its 1600mAh battery, the device weighs 160g. It offers talk time of up to 710 minutes, while it can survive standby time of approximately 360 hours on GSM.

The multitasking capabilities of the Titan are handled by a processor with a speed of 1.5GHz. In terms of wireless connectivity, it presents options like 3G, GPRS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and EDGE. Embedded with 512MB of RAM and a total storage capacity of 16GB, it readily offers an internal storage memory of up to 12.63 GB.

An 8MP camera with an f2.2 lens, dual LED flash, and BSI sensor takes care of transforming spontaneous moments into images which become memories. It also records videos in a resolution of 720p HD. On the other hand, video calling and chatting are supported by a front facing camera with a 1.3MP sensor.

The AT&T HTC Titan price is $199.99 without taking data plans, user agreements, and other regular charges into account. The handset can be grabbed at AT&T stores starting November 20. It is also expected to retail through the network carrier’s website.
