AT&T drops Price of iPhone Unlimited Voice and Data Plan

Here rolls in some interesting news to make users truly happy. Following in the footsteps of Verizon’s recent decision of cutting down the price, AT&T now makes its users chipper across the globe. Well, AT&T has recently proclaimed new unlimited plans across all devices, offering more value and choice for users who want to talk, text and surf on 3G network.

Interestingly, feature phone users may now choose unlimited talk for $69.99. Family Talk users may choose unlimited talk for $119.99 per month. Texting plans remain unchanged at $20 for unlimited plans for individuals and $30 for Family Talk plans.

“With more than twice the number of smartphone customers as our nearest competitor, we are committed to offering great value and choice for customers who want to talk, text and surf on the nation’s fastest 3G network,” stated Ralph de la Vega, president and CEO, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets. “Our new plans reflect customers’ continuing desire to do more with their phones – including talking and browsing the Web at the same time. Plus these new plans make it even more attractive to choose AT&T which already offers customers the best 3G experience and the industry’s most popular and innovative devices.”

Further, Quick Messaging Device users have an option to choose unlimited talk plan for $69.99 and Family Talk users may choose unlimited talk for $119.99 per month. On the other hand, all smartphone users, including iPhone users, can now snap up unlimited voice and data for $99.99. Smartphone users with Family Talk plans will have to shell out $179.99 for unlimited voice and data. In addition, Texting plans remain unchanged at $20 for unlimited plans for individuals and $30 for Family Talk Plans.

Users who are interested enough to switch over to this new unlimited voice and data plan can do so from Monday, January 18 without having to pay a penalty or extend their contract via AT&T’s online account management tool.
