The AT&T Beats by Dr. Dre Beatbox is set to hit the network carrier’s stores on March 11. It will be accompanied by a few other peripherals like a wireless HD stereo Bluetooth headset, Beats Solo HD headphones and more.

The Beatbox can be paired with several AT&T smartphones by means of Bluetooth or through a built-in dock connector. Apart from this, it is also said to be compatible with some portable music players. Owing to handles on both sides, it should prove to be an easy-to-carry accessory for outdoorsy audiophiles who demand on-the-go entertainment.

“As more customers begin to use their smartphone as their primary portable music device, it becomes more important for them to be able to enjoy premium sound quality no matter where they are,” commented Michael Cowan, director, product marketing management – Accessories, AT&T Mobility. “The Beats by Dr. Dre Beatbox gives consumers an opportunity to experience their music in its purest form without sacrificing quality for portability.”

The system is accompanied by a remote with buttons for scan, skip, mute, and volume as well as on-off controls. Users can juice it up via computer power supply, or employ 6 D-cell batteries for the same. Furthermore, the device features a 5.25-inch woofer along with a 3.5mm input. Other than the aforementioned add-ons, customers will also be able to grab the UR Beats in-ear headphones starting March 11.

The AT&T Beats by Dr. Dre Beatbox price tag reads $399. The headset range comprising the wireless HD stereo Bluetooth, Beats Solo HD and UR Beats can be grabbed for $280, $200 and $99, respectively.
