The ASUS ROG Phone 7 is all set to create new competition in the gaming phone space and its specs have now leaked, giving us a fair idea of what to expect from the device.

In fact, it’s being said to arrive in the form of two models, with the more powerful one gaining the suffix ‘Ultimate.’ According to the leak, both ASUS ROG Phone 7 devices will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors.

The leak also states they will ship with a 50MP rear camera bearing the Sony IMX766 sensor. A 13MP ultra-wide camera and an 8MP macro lens will supposedly accompany this unit.

Android 13 will likely be the software of choice for the ASUS ROG Phone 7 range, while both phones are also expected to have the same weight and dimensions.

So what is the big difference in the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate that makes it worthy of that tag? This device will apparently ship with 16GB worth of RAM and 512GB worth of storage.

These are the only details about the new ASUS gaming phone that have come our way through the leak, which was revealed by tipster Abhishek Yadav on Twitter.

No information related to its display has been provided, unfortunately. We don’t even have any idea of what to expect in the battery and fast charging departments.

Last year’s ROG Phone 6 came with a 165Hz AMOLED display and ran on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Moreover, the high-end gaming phone adopted a 6000mAh battery and 65W fast charging.

Coming back to the ASUS ROG Phone 7, its launch date has officially been confirmed by its makers. The device, along with its Ultimate model, will be unveiled on April 13. Stay tuned till then.
