Set to release by the end of this month, the Child Pad possesses a 7-inch touchscreen, which is bordered by an attractive blue and white bezel. Running on the latest Ice Cream Sandwich version of Android, this slate has been embedded with 1GB RAM as well as a 1GHz processor.

With this, parents might not have to worry about children encountering applications or content which is inappropriate for them. The apps in this virtual market have been divided into fourteen different categories like books, games, multimedia and some more, so that it is easier to search for them.
The Archos Child Pad price is suggested to be $129. It is expected to be made commercially available by the end of this month.
