Have you been eagerly awaiting the launch of the Apple iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C? If yes, then your wait is almost over. Apple has announced that both the iPhones will travelling to over 25 countries including Russia, Spain, Italy and more in the last week of this month, on October 25 to be precise. Their release date for India will be falling on November 1 which also happens to be the launch day for Mexico and a dozen other nations.
While the iPhone 5S comes drenched in shades of gold, space grey and silver, the iPhone 5C is the first ever colorful Apple smartphone dipped in vibrant hues of blue, green, pink, yellow and white. They both run the latest version of the iOS platform, the version 7 that claims to tag along a horde of improvements, an even more intuitive interface and enhanced multitasking amongst others. Also, both gadgets are fitted with a 4-inch Retina display and play host to an 8MP iSight snapper with LED flash as well as a FaceTime webcam.
The 5S packed in a slim exterior, is powered by an A7 64-bit chipset which is solely responsible for the internal working of the handset. It even boasts of Apple Touch ID that has a fingerprint sensor for securing sensitive data saved on the phone. On the other hand, the LTE-enabled iPhone 5C takes the assistance of the A6 processor and works towards offering a long battery life.
The 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants of the iPhone 5S are priced at $199, $299 and $399 and the iPhone 5C costs $99 (16GB) or $199 (32GB) in the US with a two-year contract. Its pricing for India will be announced at the time of the launch.
