Android driven Samsung Galaxy Spica now official

Samsung Galaxy Spica One more Android powered handset is now introduced by Samsung, entitled Galaxy Spica. The handset fueled by 800MHZ application processor offers faster and more powerful performance.

The ‘social networking’ friendly handset provides instant access to social network sites such as Facebook and MySpace. The slim and sleek device is just 13.2mm thick and supports full suite of Google services, including Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, and Google Talk.

JK Shin, Executive Vice President and Head of the Mobile Communications Division, Samsung Electronics, remarked, “Samsung has made a great effort to strengthen our smartphone line up with a wide range of innovative products for every user. The Samsung Galaxy Spica, powered by Android, is the perfect fit for users who want to enjoy a powerful and fast mobile experience.”

Further, the Samsung Spica also allows users to download a variety of applications from the Android Market. The handset features DNSe 2.0 for better sound quality and incorporates a 3.5mm ear jack.

The Samsung Galaxy Spica is now available in Europe, CIS, and will be offered in the MEA region later.
