Andrea Electronics has announced the immediate availability of a new application for the iPhone. The application PureAudio Live Recorder eradicates background noise and turns the iPhone into a portable recording device.
The application works through an intuitive easy-to-use interface. Moreover, after recording users can wirelessly transfer files onto a PC or Mac by using the Dragon Naturally Speaking preferred edition speech-to-text application. The application digitally cuts background noise and improves the quality of recording with a mobile phone.
“By utilizing our patented digital noise cancellation technology, the PureAudio Live Recorder takes mobile audio recording intelligibility to a new level for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The Andrea PureAudio application boasts of some fine qualities and features like digital noise-reduction, distant recordings with a highly sensitive microphone, variation in sampling rates to check the size and quality of recordings and support for recording in WAVE, CAF and AIFF formats. The user can record without a time limit by means of the device-memory read out. Also the user can store the recordings in distinct folders that can be edited as desired. With this application, transferring of data becomes relatively easy as it works on Wi-Fi and allows the user to mail the recorded files directly and not as a link.
This application is now available for use with the iPhone as well as the iPod Touch from the Apple iTunes Store.
