The Amazon Cloud Player app for iOS has gone live, bringing music stored in the cloud drive to the iPhone or iPod touch. Basically, it provides direct access to the Cloud Player for audio streaming via the concerned devices.

With this new app for Apple, songs present in the cloud locker can be played, downloaded and organized. This mitigates the need to download files before listening to them, rendering the experience quite convenient. Besides, tracks stuffed into the iPhone or iPod touch can be added to the Cloud Player as well. Needless to mention, the associated music libraries are ready accessible.

For now, users are entitled to receive 5GB of free storage for hoarding their digital files to the Cloud Player. For a limited period, those opting for any paid storage plan will be given unlimited room for AAC and MP3 files, without having to shell out anything extra.
