Altec Lansing has uncovered its new Custom series in-ear monitors via a partnership with audio specialist ACS Custom. Adorned with a unique design, the hand-made, armature-based in-ear monitors claim to deliver utmost comfort and noise isolation as well as voice precision and clarity.
ACS Custom states that its latest series is apt for the average customer as well as audio professionals including recording or mixing engineers, DJs, producers and performing musicians. The company has affiliated with a set of about 300 local pre-qualified audiologists and these audio accessories buyers will be recommended to any one of them for creating individual custom ear molds.
The audiologists will then craft personalized custom ear molds for users from which the monitors will be created. The customized ear molds will be sent to ACS Custom whose team would build the monitors on the basis of accurate specifications gathered by the audiologists.

The Altec Lansing offerings comprise the A1 single, A2 dual and A3 triple armature drivers. They are engineered from 40 Shore silicon with SteriTouch and provide a frequency response ranging between 16Hz and 20KHz. Additionally, the in-ear monitors totally seal the ear canal and thus canceling out the background noise so that users can listen comfortably even in chaotic surroundings without having to increase the volume.
The Altec Lansing ACS Custom Series in-ear monitors will be available later this month. The A1 single, A2 dual and A3 triple armature drivers are priced at$499.95, $749.95 and $999.95, respectively.
