Allstate now brings its roadside assistance services to users’ fingertips with a new mobile application that helps its users to reach their destination on time. The application provides a complete array of roadside services for iPhone and BlackBerry users. Allstate Motor Club claims that the release of this innovative application is its first initiative to bring its various services to non-members.
Integrated with GPS, the app analyses the caller’s location and connects it to the nearest available service provider. Drivers can easily determine their roadside problem and avail the service in no time.
“We believe that all motorists will appreciate the added peace of mind that Allstate Motor Club members enjoy today. Roadside assistance is a service that drivers really appreciate when they need it, because it helps get them back on the road to their destinations no matter where they’re going,” said Patrick M. O’Brien, president of Allstate Roadside Services.
“Making roadside assistance available via smartphones is another example of how Allstate is leveraging technology to provide outstanding service for its consumers,” added O’Brien. “The app even includes a convenient survey for customers to provide immediate feedback on their experience, to help us ensure our high levels of customer satisfaction.”
Existing club members can download this application and pre-register their contact information and membership ID. Non-members can use the services of this app on a pay-per-use basis. When a driver requests for a roadside assistance, its location and service details are transmitted to the nearest service location. After confirming the service, the application provides the service provider’s name with expected time of arrival.
