All Sprint devices to get enhanced with NextMail

Sprint LogoMobile aficionados using Sprint handsets will now experience faster and effortless communication for their daily routines. Sprint launched the availability of NextMail service on all its devices. Powered by Pacific DataVision, this service will allow users to send voice messages with much more ease.

By pressing on either ‘Direct Connect’ or by using the ‘Send’ option on any of the Sprint or Nextel handsets, users can instantly send messages. This service allows them to send a recorded voice message or text message to a maximum of 50 email addresses and 50 mobile devices while acquiring a ‘Listen to’ notification. Rather than writing long notes or thumb-typing on mobile keyboards this service is an easy and prompt way to communicate

“In today’s business climate, companies need solutions that improve productivity, increase profitability and enhance customer satisfaction. Historically available only on Nextel devices as an extension of Nextel Direct Connect, NextMail is an ideal solution for companies with highly mobile workers. Industries like construction, field services, distribution and many public sector entities will find NextMail to be a critical business tool to communicate with many people instantly, especially in places where typing isn’t convenient, and to document thorough and accurate information,” commented, Tom Roberts, vice president of Business Marketing, Sprint,

Besides NextMail, the company also introduced NextMail Professional which was previously known as NextMail Locator. This service enables users to integrate necessary location information and images with a NextMail message. For example, first responders or inspectors can authorize and share the information of the incident with their command centers. They can even share the GPS location and interactive map, photos and real-time situation experiences effortlessly through this service.

“NextMail’s Intelligent Queuing provides businesses a valuable triage tool for their field workers, finally allowing dispatchers and call center operators to quickly prioritize inbound voice communication from the field. This allows for a significant reduction in unproductive hold time, which results in increased productivity and revenue,” stated, John Pescatore, CEO of Pacific DataVision Inc.

This service eases two-way communication as it allows users to reciprocate by voice-to-voice, text or email message quickly. This technology is more useful for users working in a huge workforce and enhances the lines of communication between them. Additionally, other functions include mobile time and attendance reporting, appointment scheduling, customized mobile forms, job ticket and customer information management and an advanced communications console which enhances the proficiency and output of users.

Users can download the NextMail and NextMail Professional services at a price of $7.50 and $19.99 per month per user from the company’s official website.
