Applications seem to be rolling out every day for the iPhone. The latest to join the crowd is supposedly an industry first from Adecco Staffing USA, known as the Job Search & Apply application. Users now will be able to not only search for jobs but even apply for them right away via their iPhone.
The application includes a list of easy-to-use functionalities with the sole aim of providing job opportunities alongside interesting career insights and job search tips as well. Adecco, a recruitment and workforce solutions provider in the United States, wants to cut down on unemployment by developing innovative ways for job seekers. They hope that via this application they achieve their goals.
Ed Blust, chief marketing officer of Adecco Group North America on the launch of the application commented that, “At Adecco we now not only continue to connect more people to more jobs than anyone else in the world, but with our new iPhone application we’ve made the process even easier enabling U.S. job seekers to search and apply for hundreds of jobs from anywhere, at anytime.”
The application auto-suggests jobs to users by applying behavior-based targeting. Moreover, the app delivers career news to users so as to help them choose the right job. Apart from these, other features include the Adecco Career Centre locator and full integration with social media applications.
