Beetel debuts eight new 2G and 3G handsets in India

Beetel logo Indian mobile consumers are spoilt for choice with a number of phones entering the market. Beetel Teletech has doffed the silk off its latest lineup of 2G and 3G handsets in India. Each one of the eight, is a dual SIM handset and bundles up the usual FM radio and cameras along with good battery life. The company plans to unveil all of them by the end of this fiscal year.

Few of the handsets from the series are loaded with unique features like a gaming QWERTY phone or a triple SIM device proffering GSM+GSM+CDMA. One of them is even pre-installed with a complete movie while another is a 3G phone equipped with an easy user interface. Furthermore, the company offers social networking apps like Facebook and Nimbuzz in order to make the phones more youth centric.

Beetel has joined hands with NgPay, Yahoo and Opera Mini to endow its users with value added services. Moreover, it has partnered with Ibibo to provide free messaging and calling through GPRS. The phones will be supported by a strong service network comprising of more than 400 service centers along with an SMS facility, which would assist users in locating these centers.

The Beetel handsets will retail with a price range of Rs. 1750 – Rs. 7000. Initially, the mobile phones will be sold through a nationwide distribution network of more than 4000 outlets. These outlets will be all over Delhi, UP and Uttaranchal, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan, along with the seven North Eastern states.
