This mobile phone is a candy bar shaped one. The handset has a QWERTY thumb keyboard which slides out and enables users to type their messages and documents easily.
The HTC SMT5800 runs on Standard version of Windows Mobile 6 allowing users to view Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint files and attachments.
The SMT5800 has a screen of 2.4 inches and 240 x 320 in size. The SMT5800 includes a microSD card slot for memory expansion.
The HTC SMT5800 comes bundled with Bluetooth 2.0 with wireless stereo headphones.
This smartphone supports Verizon’s speedy EV-DO 3G data network and can also be used as modem to access internet for notebooks.
The Verizon SMT5800 has a 2.0 mega-pixel camera with auto focus.
This HTC SMT5800 is being showcased at the CES 2008 and available for $249.99 with a two year contract.
