From October 10th to the 16th, a Diwali Dhamaka sale will be running on the Amazon India website, offering several discounts on products from most of the varied categories hosted by the retailer. This announcement comes right after Flipkart’s Big Billion Day Sale which managed to provoke mixed responses among Indian buyers last week.
Amazon India has announced that each of this week will see deals being doled out across hundreds of products from all its categories. Moreover, Lighting Deals which will be introduced every hour from 7am to 6pm will also form part of this Diwali Dhamaka program.
One of the most revered e-retail sites in the country, Amazon India has promised that over the course of the next seven days, it will even be seen launching new categories on its portal, apart from surprises which will pop up each day. It has been revealed that deliveries from the site during this season will feature special festive design packaging.

Amazon’s reading tablet, the Kindle Paperwhite has been granted a Rs 2000 for this sale, whereas laptops and mobile phones have received 20 percent and 30 percent price cuts. Amazon is even offering up to 70 percent off on certain books.
Some important deals that are coming up tomorrow include a 25 percent-off deal on the Philips HD4419 2300-Watt smooth and ribbed plate table grill, 23 percent-off on the Samsung Multi-Function wireless printer and more. For women, the site will be offering special ethnic jewelry for Karwa Chauth through the Jewellery Gift Store.
