The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo which as the name suggests, forms a part of the Grand series of phones, has been leaked on the web without any details regarding its availability. Of course, the South Korean company has issued no official statement announcing the device as yet, but even that should happen soon.
SammyHub received this bit of information through an undisclosed tipster who seemed to know that the upcoming device will be a phablet much like its predecessors such as the Galaxy Grand, Grand Quattro and Grand 2. The phone in question will play host to a touchscreen measuring 5 inches diagonally.
And what’s more, the smartphone takes a leaf out of the Grand 2’s book and operates with the assistance of the Android Jelly Bean 4.3 OS. This should make it compatible with the Galaxy Gear. Moreover, Samsung’s proprietary features should also be present within the phone and thus we are expecting the OS to be tweaked with TouchWiz UI. The Multi Window feature is also likely to come pre-installed in the handset.
And in spite of being loaded with all of these features, the Grand Neo will continue to fall in the mid-range category. It will set you back by an amount that’s less than that of the Grand 2 which means you should not be charged more than Rs 23K for it. The exact amount has not been disclosed.
