Basking in the glory of its previous social networking phone, the INQ1, the UK network carrier 3 is all set to launch the INQ Mini 3G in the beginning of the next month.
The social networking capabilities of the Mini 3G are similar to that of the INQ1, but it does add a few enhancements. Similar to the INQ1, the Mini provides access to renowned social networking websites like Facebook, IM and Skype. Further, it also facilitates users to access Twitter. It helps users navigate applications on a carousel menu for increased navigation.
The latest Twitter application on the INQ handset features ‘always on’ capability, thus ensuring that users do not miss out on any message. Apparently, the mobile phone sports a 2.2-inch display and 2 megapixel camera. The Mini 3G will be offered in seven colored backs. Initially, the handset will come with a red-back, however users can buy other colored backs from the 3 Store.
The INQ Mini 3G will be available from early October on Pay as you Go for £59.99. The social networking mobile phone will also be available on contract. The INQ Chat 3G which was announced along with the INQ Mini 3G last month is expected to hit the stores by the end of this year.
